A local Athens-based company, Landmark Properties, announced today that they will begin development on a downtown student mid-rise community at this location. Landmark continues to address the demand for student housing by providing purpose-built communities, eliminating the need for students to live in established neighborhoods. This development will include 184 units, including one, two, three, and four bedroom loft-style apartments, positioned on 3 acres of prime, downtown real estate. In addition, the building will hold more 30,000 square feet of retail space and 640 parking spaces.
